Apologies

Apologies are a curse.

They are a burden, yet set you free at the same time.

While they might come easy to some, some people can’t get the words out of their mouth.

Are you sorry or not?

I can’t tell unless you tell me.

I want to say sorry, but the words are lodged in my throat.

I’m sorry…
