CROPS and CHICKENS
By hercules
One morning, a pair of ten-year-old twins called Linda and Jenny were in their shared bedroom, looking at a picture book full of chicken breeds.
Their one dream was to keep chickens, but at that moment, they were living in a very busy town.
Their parents, Jed and Marion, also had a shared dream and that was to grow organic crops.
A year later, things looked up.
The twins and their parents left the hustle and bustle of town and settled down in the heart of the countryside.
Jed and Marion brought a large house with very large gardens.
What a stroke of luck.
Jed and Marion finally had the chance to produce home grown crops.
As for Jenny and Linda, they got their chickens.
Author Notes: I myself used to have chickens. Now I grow my own crops.
