Falling, falling, falling

Today I am in the best place I could be.
There is no describing how relieved I am.
I lay on the couch, Drifting into sleep.

I dream of falling.
The descent is terrifying.
I'm rapidly approaching the floor.

I awaken and realize, Something is not right.

I sit down once again on the couch again,
but this time I do not sleep.
I sit in wonder.
I ponder.

This time I am falling again.
I'm not dreaming
I close my eyes
and pretend I'm sleeping
