goodbye

I thought it would never happen. But it did.One day i got the heart breaking news that my grandfather had passed away. He had suffered from cancer which spread through his body.I felt the rush of tears just waiting to flow.The night after the funeral i was laying down... thinking."I never got to say goodbye".Once i started repeating it in my head i knew i wouldn't be able to sleep. I went down stairs and sat there.Motionless.I felt a whispering in my ear,"Goodbye". I recognized that it was my grandfather's voice.Immeadiatley tears just started flowing non-stop.Every once in a while i can still her his sweet voice whispering "Goodbye".
