She's killed me, you know,
She's always hated me but never let it show.
We knew each other well,
Each of us, caught in the other's spell.

She's killed me, you know,
Her hatred burns bright.
I was a fool to think love was her light,
But, now I see, what she wouldn't show.

She hates me, you know,
And, my death is ever slow.
The knife is still in my chest,
Shoved crudely in, but she did her best.

I'm dead, you know,
Tears fill my eyes when I hear death's crow.
We've done this dance too many times,
And now I die, despite my cries.
