A fun, light, humorous story. I liked the unexpected part when the sister revealed she had given the drunken note to the neighbor. In my opinion, the story should also be labeled as a romance as it leans that way, but not too far, thankfully. There are a couple of typos you may want to fix. Good writing.
Very good writing. Great structure. Descriptive, yet not overly so, and spread throughout the story. Good plot. I felt like her mysterious disappearances at night needed a bit more development to tie it in with the betrayal at the end of the story, but the suspense was still good. I look forward to reading your other stories.
Very well written. Tragic, and true in instances. I liked the sudden revelation that Rose had actually killed her abusive husband. No prelude leading up to it, just wham, and then no wind down. Made me wonder how many people exist like this, and of course the bird is in such contrast to her. Great story.
Good story, and a great surprise ending. Also, was left with the question of whether it was simply an accident that Anthony got caught with the knife, or that Raymond had planned it all out. Great climax to the story. Well written, and easy to read. Entertaining.
A fun read, and the revealing truth of the doctor's attitude is true to form. I always feel like just another animal in the herd when I go to the doctor. I like the way the wife derailed his cattle call method of consulting. Good story.
Great imagery! Hope there is more to come.
Well written. Points out the fundamental reality of nature, which is all things must have an opposite, including world peace. Watch how a dog will rush the fence barking, and growling when another dog walks past, and maybe sometimes they wag tales, and sniff each other through the fence. people do the same thing whether on the level of one on one or whole countries. Enjoyable, easy read with a message attached to it.
